The Management of Bora Polyclinic Ltd. was always of the view to help the masses and reach out to the poorest of the poor and improve quality of life of an individual.

The group established on NGO by the name of Sewa Samiti to organize various activities as a corporated social responsibilities.

  • Reaching out to communities specially the under privileged to help them stay healthy.
  • Organized numerous free health camp on rural, semi-urban slums area.
  • Blood donation camp & consultancy provided to establish blood like banks like Lions Blood Bank. Lucknow Nursing Homes Associations etc.
  • Health Awareness camp.
  • Establishment of sewamitras and stitching kendras in and around lucknow to provide information and accesses to medical facilities available in the hospital.

Sewa Samiti was registered in the year 1997 by the enterprising youth of Lucknow with a strong social commitment. It was registered under India’s Societies Registration Act of 1860 as Not For Profit Organization. As a Non Profit Organization (NPO) Sewa Samiti uses surplus revenue to achieve its social service goals rather than distributing them as profit or dividends to its founder members.

The Sewa Samiti society was formed by a group of individuals who have been committed to render relentless service towards the welfare and development of the underprivileged. The society is engaging itself in the betterment of the poor with focus on skill training, healthcare, environment awareness, self employment, leadership training for women and many other socio-economic activities like total sanitation, rural women education, mother and childcare services.

The main objective of Sewa Samiti is to serve the people who are in dire need of help withoutany discrimination of caste, class, creed across the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Sewing centres for women empowerment

The Sewa Samiti has off late established sewing centre in semi urban parts of Lucknow. The 32 centres have been provided with hand manual sewing machine supported by Lions International and Central bank of India. The training of around five thousand women in a span of two years has enabled them to earn their livelihood.

In the year of 2014, a partnership with construction industries development corporation a planning commission, government of India enterprise was formed with Bora Vocational Training Institute to train and educate the workers and technicians of construction and infrastructure industry in India with latest trends and technologies at their works and vocational trades.


To uplift the socio-economic development of the downtrodden and underprivileged people in the states of Uttar Pradesh with emphasis on education, health, awareness generation, income generation through women self help groups, care of needy children & elderly people in distress and empowerment of rural and urban poor men & women.
